- THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The solicitation number is PR-OEI-13-00608, and the solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-68. This is a small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541511?Custom Computer Programming Services and the small business size standard is $25.0 Million. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), RTP, NC has a requirement for Informatica Power Center Maintenance. Informatica Power Center is the Agency?s primary ETL (Extract Transformation and Load) software too l. The PowerCenter servers: alpaca, sequoia, karpo and diablo reside in the EPA, RTP, NCC on the Intranet network. Dozens of customer applications and hosting infrastructure tools depend on PowerCenter for populating data warehouses and moving data between disparate sources. This software support and license updates contract is mission critical. This acquisition contains name brand specifications. See attached justification.
