Description

The Atlanta VA Medical Center, (VISN 7) intends to issue a sole source contract to Emory University of Atlanta, GA to provide for use of equipment, training and oversight in repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) for the Atlanta VA Medical Center. This service will support the ability of the VAMC providing for access to existing TMS equipment (e.g., stimulator, iron-core coil) which will be maintained in good working order by this Department of Neurology laboratory. Periodic monitoring of experimental findings by personnel from this laboratory will assist the principal investigator in ensuring that rTMS parameters are optimal.
