Description
The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of qualified businesses to deliver twelve (12) Teflon Lined ISO Containers to Aberdeen Proving Grounds Maryland. The U.S. Army Edgewood Chemical Biological Center (ECBC) request information (brochure, catalog page, etc.) to include pricing and availability from sources that can deliver a 6,340 Gal/ 24,000 liters ISO Tank Container with established industry fittings and accessories surrounded by a 20 foot x 8 foot x 8.5 foot standard shipping frame to the Edgewood Area of Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md. The Tank Container shall be Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) lined. The tank may be new or refurbished. The government does not require steam/electric heating capabilities, insulation, or cladding. Insulation and cladding shall be removed. Please provide the information electronically to david.j.kline4.civ@mail.mil and Jemel Hogan jemel.m.hogan.civ@mail.mil no later than 3:00pm EST 12 July 2013. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a small business set-aside is possible. The contract vehicle for the Teflon Lined ISO Containers is anticipated to be a Firm Fixed Price contract. SUBMISSION OF CAPABILITY STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS: Small Businesses with an interest in being considered must submit the required capability statement of qualifications. The Capability Statement of Qualifications shall not exceed 10 single-sided pages of 8 1/2x11 - size paper with a minimum font size of 10 pitch and minimum of 1 quote mark margins and shall address the following: (1) Company information to include name, point(s) of contact(s); email address, physical/mailing address, telephone number, small business category (e.g. SBA 8(a)/HUBZone certification data or self-certified SDVOSB), DUNS number; (2) Provide information on Key Personnel and/or other in-house personnel and their relevance to the task described including resource availability, education and/or other training; (3) A description of the firm's relevant management experience relating to the tasks described above including the scope and nature of at least three (3) of the most current or completed comparable projects to include beginning and ending contract price, beginning and ending date of the project, customer name and point of contact; indicate if you are/were the prime or sub-contractor; (4) brochures or other pre-printed material may be submitted to address the above capabilities/qualifications under the condition that they are included in the required page count. DUE DATE: Firms shall submit one copy of the capability statement of qualifications for receipt NO LATER THAN 9 July, 2013 at3:00p.m. Eastern Standard Time, via email to: david.j.kline4.civ@mail.mil and Jemel Hogan jemel.m.hogan.civ@mail.mil no later than 3:00pm EST 12 July 2013. Any organization responding to this notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the organization's qualifications to perform the work. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. After a review of the responses received, a pre-solicitation synopsis and solicitation may be published in Federal Business Opportunities. However, responses to this notice will not be considered adequate responses to a solicitation. One award is expected for the proposed requirement. No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response.
