Bean LLC (W912EP-13-D-0015) PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FROM ANY ENTITY OTHER THAN THE PREVIOUSLY LISTED FIRMS INCLUDED IN THE SPECIFIED DREDGING MATOC POOL. OPTIONS ARE BEING INCLUDED DUE TO AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS. AWARD WILL NOT BE MADE UNTIL FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Project work is divided into a base and three options. The base work includes maintenance dredging in the 40-foot project from Cut-41 through the Lower Terminal Channel. Optional work includes additional mobilization for Options 2 and 3 work. Option 2 work includes removal of loose rock from a portion of Cut-G of the 38-foot project, Option 3 work includes maintenance dredging of Cut-G. All material excavated under the base and optional work shall be placed in Cell F of East Bartram Island. Additional work includes installation of temporary weir discharge line extensions, endangered species monitoring, and turbidity monitoring. The work is located in the Upper cuts thru Lower Terminal Channel (westerly extent) of Jacksonville Harbor, Duval County, Florida. Cut G is located easterly of the Dames Point Bridge. Cell F of Bartram Island is located adjacent to the superstructure of Dames Point Bridge. Project work areas are accessible via marine transportation throughout Jacksonville Harbor/St. Johns River. The Magnitude of Construction is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The request for proposal will be issued on 11 July 2013 and proposals will be due on or about 13 August 2013. The award of the task order will be made on the basis of Lowest Price Technical Acceptable (LPTA); the technical evaluation factors are availability of technically acceptable plant and equipment and past performance.
