- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation (W9124313T0016) is being issued as a Request for Quotation. This notice and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). This is a Small Business Set-Aside referencing NAICS code is 334519. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management at https://www.sam.gov, in order to be considered for award. The Government contemplates an award of a Firm Fixed Priced purchase order contract resulting from this solicitation for the following items Line Item 0001: This requirement is for 2 Each - Gamma Monitor - Wireless Multi-Gas Air Monitor PGM5620 (RAE Systems)- Must have multichannel capability; Must be equipped with built-in wireless antenna and RF (Radio Frequency) modem that allows the unit to communicate and transmit readings and other information on a real-time basis with a remotely located base controller; Must be a multi-sensor detector that includes a Photo ionization detector (PID) for parts per-million measurement (PPM) of volatile organic compounds; Includes a Gamma radiation detector; Include an LEL, Oxygen sensor and up to 2 electrochemical toxic gas sensors; Must be approved for use in Class I Division 2 hazardous environments; Must be able to communicate with base station that is installed with ProRAE Remote software; Be equipped with GPS capability; Must include Carbon filters, quick reference guide, Operation and Maintenance manual, rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack, 120/240 VAC AC/DC adapter, spare filters, transport case, Teflon tubing and tool kit. This combined synopsis & solicitation notice is a request for competitive quotations. Therefore, all responsible capability statements or quotations received prior to the RFQ close date will be considered. The Government will award a single purchase order contract resulting from this RFQ to the responsible offeror whose offer represents the best value in terms of technical capability and price. Submit the following documents in response to this RFQ: Price Quotation and Verification of valid SAM registration. Offers are due on 26 July, 2013 by 3:00 PM CST.
