Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business
 

Description

This shall be a Service Disabled Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSB). As a result, all SDVOSB's may submit a bid, which shall be considered by the agency. The project falls under NAICS Code 236220, and has a Small Business Standard of $33.5 Million. The SCOPE OF WORK is as follows: Scope of Work: Project # 630-13-122 Access Road/ Interior flood Barriers/ Access road Description of Work: The Work of this contract shall include all work to be performed to construct paved access road, driveway access and parking lifts as shown on contract drawings and specified in contract specifications. This work includes demolition or relocation as indicated in the drawings of existing pavement, sidewalk, utilities, fencing, signs, light poles, traffic signal, etc. This work includes the acquiring of all required permits and approvals. This includes but is not limited to permits and approvals related to curb cuts and traffic signal relocation, as well as other construction permits. This work shall include furnishing and installing parking lifts, parking lift utilities and appurtenances as indicated in the contract documents, and commissioning of each lift. This contract includes a one year maintenance and service contract provided by the Contractor. All construction work shall be performed at the VA Medical Center, 423 East 23rd Street, New York, NY 10010. Construction duration shall be 180 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. The anticipated solicitation will be posted on July 27, 2013 Bid submissions shall be in hardcopies and not e-mailed or faxed. This project requires the bidders/contractors to secure bonding. All bidders shall be registered and verified in the www.ccr.gov, www.dnb.com/, www.vetbiz.gov and https://orca.bpn.gov/
