Pic 6 Limit Torque Pic 5 valve Pic 4 Valve Pic 3 Valve Pic 2 valve Pic 1 Generator water valve RFQ IBM13Q0003, WOW and Wage Determination This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued separately. Solicitation IBM13Q0004 is being issued in a Request for Quotes (RFQ) format. This solicitation document and its incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-58. IBM13Q0004 is a total set-aside acquisition for small businesses. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332911 - Industrial Valve Manufacturing, with a corresponding small business standard of 500 employees. Only offers from small businesses will be considered for this solicitation. Description: The international Boundary and Water Commission (IBWC) is seeking price quotes for: Four Fill Line valves with electronic actuators. The requirements for the new valves are identical from the current valves. This is going to be a direct replacement and must comply with the current dimension from piping imbedded in concrete at penstock gallery. The valves currently installed are Nordstrom Bolted gland type iron plug valve. They must be weatherproof enclosure. They are worm gear operated. The cold working pressure for the valve is 200 CWP and 400 psig Test. The valve is designed with Venturi Pattern. The size of the valve is 12 inches. The face to face dimension is 24 inches. The diameter of flanges is 19 inches. The thickens of flanges is 1.31 inches. The flanges are drilled to ASME Class 125 Cast Iron Standard template. The body of the valve, plug, and housing are cast iron. The actuator for the valve must be electronic and must be weatherproof enclosure. The actuator must be able to have controls in order to either control it locally or remotely. The power for actuator shall be for three phase 480 volts 60 Hz. The hand wheel must be mounted on the side. The valves will be shipped to Falcon Power Station once they are ready with its accessories. The contractor is responsible for the shipment services. The fabrication of theses valves must meet and conform with the ASME and ASTM latest standards. The valves and actuators shall be tested at the vendors facility. The government will perform the installation of the valves. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition (FAR provisions and clauses are available for review at http://www.arnet.gov/far). Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Paragraph (a) of this provision is hereby replaced with the following: Award will be made to the low, responsive, responsible bidder meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards for non-price evaluation factors. The non-price evaluation factors and their acceptability standard are: (1) Technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement. Interested vendors shall complete and return a copy of provision of 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items or update and complete ORCA online through the System of Award Management (SAM) database at https//www.sam.gov. The clause at 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items applies to the acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Vendors are required to register or update their registration in the SAM database. This registration is required to receive contract award and will facilitate payment.
