Description

Scope of Work: The work includes providing a design/build package to remedy ponding of water in front of the Vehicle Maintenance building, remedy ponding of water near the transformer on the northwest side of the building and near the north side mechanical room door area and repairing broken/cracked terracotta tiles in the kitchen area of the Consolidated Reserve Center building. Estimated Price Range: Between $100,000 and $250,000. Number of Days in Contract: 105 Number of Bid Items: One NAICS Code: 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction $33.5 Million. The solicitation (specification) will be limited to the electronic medium. The specification WILL NOT be provided in a paper hard copy format or CD_ROM. All prospective bidders are required to register on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) website for this procurement when specifications become available. The address for downloading this solicitation from the Internet is https://www.neco.navy.mil and will be available on or about 30 July 2013. Registration and downloading from the Internet is free of charge; however, some specifications may take a considerable amount of time to download. Notification of any changes to this solicitation (Amendments) shall be made only on the internet. Therefore it is the contractor ™s responsibility to check the Internet site daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. Please be advised of on-line registration requirements in the Systems for Award Management (SAM) database https://www.sam.gov and directed solicitation provisions concerning electronic annual Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) at https://orca.bpn.gov; Representation and Certifications are required to be updated annually as a minimum to keep information current, accurate and complete. The electronic annual representations and certifications are effective until one year from date of submission or update to ORCA. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All contractors submitting proposals on DOD solicitations must be registered in the System for Award Management Registration (SAM) prior to award of the contract. Reference is FAR Clause 52.204-99. This acquisition shall be set aside for 100% Small Business in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.219-6 Notice of Total Small Business Set Aside. The Government will only accept offers from small business concerns.
