CONTACT INFORMATION CAN BE FOUND WITHIN THE BODY OF THIS SOLICITION. *** This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ), built same as or equal to the products listed below. 1.KPFL-400040-12805 Rev: ND70 piecesKAPTON HEATER, FLAT, 40' LONG, 4' WIDE, 1280W 240 V, 36' LEADS,W/ EXTREME LOW TEMPERATURE SILICONE ADHESIVE, 8W/IN 2.TOOLING AND NRE CHARGE one time 3.KPFL-500040-16005 Rev: ND 35 Pieces KAPTON HEATER, FLAT, 50' LONG, 4' WIDE, 1600 W 240V, 36'LEADS,W/ EXTREME LOW TEMPERATURE SILICONE ADHESIVE,8W/IN 4.TOOLING AND NRE CHARGE one time This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurements are 333531/500 respectively. The offeror shall state in their offer their size status for this procurement. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery to Marshall Space Flight Center to be determined at a later date. Delivery shall be FOB destination. Offers for the items described above are due by 07/26/2013 4:30pm CST to Amy Maples (ARCS) at amy.maples@nasa.gov or faxed to 256.961.9604 and must include, solicitation number, FOB destination to this Center, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, warranty duration, identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative. Venders may submit offers using their company's standard form. Offerors shall provide the information required by FAR 52.212-1 (FEB 2012), Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, which is incorporated by reference. If the end product(s) offered is other than domestic end product(s) as defined in the clause entitled 'Buy American Act -- Supplies,' the offeror shall so state and shall list the country of origin. FAR 52.212-4 (FEB 2012). Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items is applicable. FAR 52.212-5 (JAN 2013, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items is applicable and the following is identified clauses are incorporated by reference: See attached terms and conditions. Telephone questions will not be accepted. Selection and award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. Technical acceptability will be determined by review of information submitted by the offeror which must provide a description in sufficient detail to show that the product offered meets the Government's requirement. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. However, any award from this RFQ will require the potential vendor to be certified within the Online Central Contractor Registration (SAMS) and Online Representations and Certifications Application Databases prior to award. NASA Clause 1852.215.84 (NOV 2011, Ombudsman, is applicable.
