- The 6th Contracting Squadron (6 CONS) at MacDill AFB issues this Sources Sought Synopsis for information only to locate sources who are capable. The 6th Security Forces Squadron requests the purchase of Electronic Security Systems Maintenance for 12 months beginning 1 August 2013. The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to maintain the ADVANTOR Intrusion Detection System, Water Side Security System, Pass & ID Badge System and Building 203 Surveillance Cameras. Contractor must simultaneously perform routine maintenance according to manufacturer's specifications; repairs, service, inspections, manage/order supplies, and facility/shop clean up. This Sources Sought is an advance notice for information and planning purposes only and is not a solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System is 561621 and the size standard is $12,500,000.00, unless otherwise noted. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities, and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 12:00 PM local time on 25 July, 2013. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications ARE NOT acceptable in response to this notice. Sources shall include in their information, a detailed capabilities statement stating their experience in providing the same or similar work described in this notice, a point of contact with phone and e-mail information, business status (Socio-Economic Factors: 8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business), business size based on NAICS 561621, and a positive statement of interest to submit a proposal. This request for information is not a commercial solicitation and the Government will not pay for any information submitted, or for any costs associated with providing the information.
