Description
RFQ SOW This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Written quotes are being requested. A hardcopy written RFQ will not be issued. NOAA Southwest Fisheries Science Center (SWFSC) has a requirement to conduct age validation and characterize stock structure and population dynamics of tunas, swordfish and sharks using hard parts. The entire Solicitation is attached. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) of this procurement is 541690 with a small business size standard of $14.0M. The government intends to issue a firm fixed price contract with period of performance commencing approximately from date of award through Dec 31, 2014. All interested parties must respond to this announcement within seven (7) calendar days of its publication. Interested firms shall provide, in writing, a brief narrative (no more than 3 pages in length) and documentation to support your firm's capability and experience meeting the requirements herein.The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible vendor whose quote is considered to be technically acceptable at lowest evaluated price. Detailed information must be submitted by email to the Purchasing Agent, Maria L. Mendoza at maria.l.mendoza@noaa.gov by 4:00PM local Seattle time (PST), on Tuesday, July 23, 2013. Questions of any nature must be addressed in writing as TELEPHONE INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE HONORED. This notice is hereby issued as RFQ No.AB133F13RQ03355. The following provisions and clauses shall apply to this RFQ and resultant award. This procurement also requires contractors to complete the electronic representations and certifications at the SAM website.
