- CSC Applied Technologies LLC (CSC) is contemplating the issue of an Indefinite Delivery Quantity (IDQ) solicitation IFB169B for projects XTLF 14-1020, Repair Lodging Roof F713, XTLF 14-1026 Repair Youth Center Roof - F323, XTLF 15-1005 Repair Base Library Roof - F314 as a Small Business set aside. Funds are not promised or guaranteed for this solicitation. There shall be no legal liability on the part of the Government or CSC should funding not be provided. In the absence of funding no contract will result. Should funds be provided, to be considered for award of this project a contractor must have satisfactory previous experience in the types of work contained in this solicitation and have a successful track record performing the types of work contained in the project. Vance AFB also has strict Base access regulations and commercial inspections are mandatory with each entry to the facility. The acceptance period for this action will be through 30 September 2013 and contractors should consider this impact to their bonding limits prior to bidding the solicitation. XTLF 14-1020, Repair Lodging Roof F713, Project consists of removing existing roofing membrane, flashings and metal fascia/gravel stop and replacing with new SBS Modified Bitumen roofing system, rigid insulation, flashings, and metal fascia, and all work in accordance with the plans and specifications to provide a complete project. XTLF 15-1005, Repair Base Library Roof - F314, Project consists of removal of existing roofing membrane and flashings, and replacement with SBS Modified Bitumen roofing system. Removal of roofing membrane and flashings containing asbestos will require a State of Oklahoma licensed asbestos abatement contractor. Project includes all work in accordance with the plans and specifications to provide a complete project. XTLF 14-1026, Repair Youth Center Roof - F323, Project consists of removal of existing standing seam metal roofing, rigid insulation, flashing, gutters and downspouts, and re-covering with new standing seam metal roofing panels, rigid insulation, new flashing, new gutters and downspouts at Facility 323 - Youth Center, gymnasium roof. Additional interior work includes removal and replacement of a portion of gypsum board walls, removal and replacement of batt insulation, cleaning any mold present behind the walls, and all work in accordance with the plans and specifications to provide a complete project. Magnitude $500K - $1M Estimated Solicitation Issue Date: July 29, 2013 Once issued, please refer to the Solicitation Documents Folder of the solicitation download in the file "Solicitation Offer and Award" to confirm the following dates Pre-Bid, August 15, 2013, 10:00 a.m. at Vance AFB, OK meeting will begin in Building 200 Conference Room 123. Bid Opening, Aug 28, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. to be held at Building 200 Conference Room 123. Both above dates are subject to change. Please verify prior to dates shown to assure the scheduled events will occur as stated here. Anyone planning on hand carrying a bid that does not already have a Base pass should contact the Construction Contract Specialist via E-mail at ricky.murrow.ctr@us.af.mil and advise who will be carrying the bid. The individual(s) will need to plan on arriving at the Visitors Center at least 45 minutes prior to bid opening to avoid potential delay in accessing the facility. Valid driver's license and current insurance and registration for the vehicle being driven will also be required to be presented at time of arrival at the Visitors Center and prior to a Base pass being issued. Please note: All interested persons wishing to attend the, non-mandatory but highly recommended, Pre-Bid Meeting to be held at Vance AFB must provide the following information a minimum of five (5) days prior to the Pre-Bid Meeting. The individuals name as it appears on their Driver's License, Driver's License Number, Driver's License State of Issue and Date of Birth. Provide the above via E-mail to ricky.murrow.ctr@us.af.mil. Valid driver's license and current insurance and registration for the vehicle being driven will also be required to be presented at time of arrival at the Visitors Center and prior to a Base pass being issued. It is important that information be provided no later than the Thursday of the week prior to the Pre-bid meeting date. Failure to provide this information may result in not being given access to the facility. Questions or clarifications should also be directed to either E-mail address ricky.murrow.ctr@us.af.mil. IFB169B package is expected to be available on or about the Estimated Solicitation Issue Date shown above from the FBO Vance AFB page. After solicitation issue it is your responsibility to check FBO frequently for possible addenda or other items that may affect the solicitation.
