Description
The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Dugway Proving Ground (DPG), UT is seeking sources to provide autonomous vehicle test support. The test support is for unmanned aerial systems (UAS) which will require moving target vehicles. These targets consist of unoccupied vehicles being towed behind autonomous vehicles, which are controlled using remote ground control stations. Engineers will be required to operate and maintain the Pronto4 autonomous vehicle control systems which are installed in the Government Furnished autonomous vehicles. These unmanned platforms will be used to tow target vehicle during unmanned aerial vehicle aerial munitions testing. The scope of work for this action includes: 1)An eight hour site visit to DPG to assess and provide technical expertise on the autonomous vehicles and the test track they will be using during test execution; 2)Four days of test support at DPG, each lasting 10 hours per day by engineers who shall set up and operate a GPS tower and ground control station, assist in operating the autonomous vehicles, and provide troubleshooting and solutions for autonomous software issues; and 3)Provide the use of one ground control stations, two portable communications towers, GCS laptop, power supply, and vehicle controller for the test. The task will be conducted on DPG, approximately 35 miles west of the DPG main gate. The remote location of the work will require all personnel provide their own food and water for the duration of the work day.
