- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABE AT THIS TIME. The Mission & Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Fort Jackson, South Carolina is seeking information for market research to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources to determine an acquisition strategy for Woman Owned Small Businesses capable of providing Dining Facility (DFAC) furniture that can be purchased and installed on Fort Jackson. This sources sought notice is not a request for proposal. This request for information is for planning purposes only and shall not obligate the Government to acquire any products or services. The Government is not obligated to, and will not, pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this notice. Your response to this source sought will be treated as information only. The results of the market research will be used to determine the best overall acquisitions strategy. Submission Requirements: Responses to this announcement must be received no later than 3:00p.m Eastern Standard Time, Friday, July 19, 2013. Interested firms may submit capability statements via email only to andre.m.yee.mil@mail.mil. Responses shall not exceed 5 pages when printed and should be transmitted with attachments in Microsoft word or PDF format. No zipped files or telephone requests will be honored. Any questions regarding this notice should be directed to MAJ Andre Yee, via email. As part of the capability package, firms must include the following: (1)Capability Statement demonstrating knowledge and ability to install and provide furniture as stated below. Capability statement must be sufficient to demonstrate performance directly related to the performance of the requirement. (2)Size of Business pursuant to NAICS code 337215 (3)Small Business Agency Regional Office (if applicable) (4)Contact information: name, title, telephone number, and e-mail address of designated corporate point of contact. (5)Describe your recent and relevant contracts performed within the past three years for the same or similar services as required below. Contracts may include those within Federal, State and local Government as well as private companies. Each reference must include the contract dollar value; the contract period of performance; and a brief description of the contract requirement. Scope: Provide all resources to procure, stage, deliver, set-up and assemble the below list of furniture and d cor to Facilities at Fort Jackson, SC. Delivery location is Building 2302 Sumter Street, Fort Jackson, SC 29207 to meet the performance requirements below. List of items to be delivered and installed: a.500 each, Adjutant General (AG) logo chair: Ft. Jackson AG logo chair 17.5 quote mark W X 19.5 quote mark D X 32 quote mark H with vinyl upholstered seat (Color TBD) with steel laser cut logo back. Frame to be constructed of high density box steel, with leg stretchers for added strength, non marring piece nylon glides. Powder coat finish (Color TBD). b.60 each, AG logo barstool: for AIT Platoon Sergeant instructor area; Ft. Jackson AG logo barstool to match AG logo chair. c.125 each, low rectangular 4 man table: 30 quote mark x 48 quote mark X 1-1/4 quote mark inlay laminate tables, 2 SP 522 3 t-base table legs, on the level (OTL) hydraulic glides, 1 1/4 quote mark high pressure laminate (HPL) with T mold vinyl edge. Table to include 2 each 5 quote mark x22 quote mark black finish legs. All accessories and parts included in end product. Artwork shall consist of Fort Jackson picked themes only and require approval by the Contracting Officers Representative (COR) prior to installation. i.2 each, panel artwork: custom etched metal photo panel representing activities of Fort Jackson; panel to be architecturally stable metal aluminum/rubber combination. Panel may be cut to fit mounting area, estimated dimensions of panel 48 quote mark X96 quote mark. Design and location requires approval from the Contracting Officers Representative (COR) prior to installation. j.12 each, plants, artificial: 24 inch philodendron silk plants, to include wall mount sconce for plants.
