Description
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) INTENDS TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE Change Order to N00421-07-D-0001-0004, T64 Prognostics and Diagnostics Based Management (PDBM) to General Electric Aviation (GEA) to complete the tasking under the order. This is a follow-on to Phase I which has been completed. Phase II requires validation, verification, and improvement of algorithms developed in Phase I, integration of these algorithms into their target platforms, and supporting the NAVAIR's flight test validation and verification program. Deliverables will include software, test documentation, monthly status reports, risk assessment and a white paper outlining the capability of the system. This award is based on FAR 6.302-1, whereby the supplies or services required are available from only one source, and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Period of Performance for this effort will be July 31, 2013-September 30, 2014. The Place of Performance will be at GEA's Lynn, MA and Evendale, OH facilities. No additional written information, formal request for proposal, or solicitation is available at this time. Requests for the same will be disregarded. This is not a request for competitive proposals. GENERAL INFORMATION: GEA is the sole designer, developer, and integrator of the above engines and is uniquely qualified to provide the complete range of program support required by the fleet. In addition, GEA is the only known firm that possesses the technical data necessary to fulfill the Government's requirements.
