Description

The Southern Arizona VA Health Care System intends to award a task order VA258-13-J-1471 against previously awarded Basic Ordering Agreement VA258-BO-0032 to Old Pueblo Community Services for the support of the Steps for Vets Program. The goals of the Steps for Vets (SFV) Contract Residential Care Program are to provide rapidly stabilize a serious, mentally ill Veterans' medical, mental health, substance abuse and other psychosocial problems by expediting placement of these Veterans into safe, residential treatment. Eligible veterans must be diagnosed with a serious mental illness, but who are psychiatrically stable and will not be a danger to self, agency staff or property. The current facility has passed all the necessary requirements to meet the annual inspection criteria.
