- NOTICE TO ALL POTENTIAL OFFERORS: Please ignore the "Award / Cancelled" status of this solicitation as stated on the FBO face page of this notice. This status is incorrect and this solicitation is still active and closes on July 19, 2013 at 1530 (Pacific). Again, this solicitation is active! SOLICITATION ISSUE DATE: ON OR BEFORE JULY 5, 2013 PROJECT TITLE Various Roofing Projects on the Colville National Forest, Sullivan Lake Ranger District. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The intent of this firm-fixed-price facilities maintenance contract is to perform various roofing repairs on the Colville National Forest. The descriptions of work are as follows: Building #1000 (Residence) : This project consists of carefully removing existing metal roofing and ridge cap to save and reinstall. Remove existing shingles, building felt, valley flashing, and damaged sheathing. Repair all damaged sheathing; repair outlooks on South elevation where valleys come together. Install new ice shield around chimney and along eaves and valleys; install felt paper in remaining areas. Install new valley flashing; reinstall existing metal roof and ridge cap. Building #1001 (Residence) : This project consists of carefully removing existing metal roofing and ridge cap to save and reinstall. Remove existing shingles, building felt, valley flashing, chimney flashing and damaged sheathing. Repair all damaged sheathing. Install new ice shield around chimney and along eaves and valleys; install felt paper in remaining areas. Install new chimney and valley flashing; reinstall existing metal roof and ridge cap. Note : Each bidder is required to verify existing conditions, measurements, etc. prior to submitting its bid. PROJECT LOCATION The project site is located at 12641 Sullivan Lake Rd., Metaline Falls, WA (Pend Oreille County). ESTIMATED DATE SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED June 21, 2013 (at the earliest) BID BOND / PERFORMANCE & PAYMENT BONDS REQUIRED Bonding requirements will be detailed in the solicitation upon issuance, if required. DISCLOSURE OF THE MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS Less than $25,000.00. DESIRED START DATE August 12, 2013. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE The selected contractor will have thirty (30) calendar days to complete the work after the Forest Service issues the Notice to Proceed (NTP).
