PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT. THIS IS A POTENTIAL SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ISSUED ONLY TO CONDUCT A MARKET RESEARCH STUDY FOR AN ANTICIPATED MILITARY PROGRAM. The information received will be used within the United States Property and Fiscal Office (USPFO), Topeka, Kansas, to facilitate the decision making process and will not be disclosed outside of the organization. This announcement is not a request for proposals, but a survey of the market for potential sources. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. This notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose other than market research. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. Joint Forces Headquarters, Topeka, KS is seeking SBA Total Small Business with current relevant experience, personnel, and capability to set up, maintain, and tear down a base camp in support of the Vigilant Guard exercise 2014 near Salina Kansas. The project if awarded under a contract will include supplying and erecting temporary lodging (tent city), portable latrines, shower trailers, and a temporary dining facility with such capacity to accommodate approximately 1100 personnel. The services will include maintenance of facilities, trash removal and operation of the dining facility for three daily meals. Meals costs should cost approximately $6.00 per person, per meal (breakfast, lunch and dinner). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code(s) should be classified under is 624230, emergency and other relief services. The period of performance for the requirement is 04-08 August 2014. The proposed contract if awarded will be for a stand-alone project to responsible company with recent and relevant experience in previous projects dating back not more than six (6) years. Proposed teaming arrangements, 8a Mentor/Protege, or other partnering agreements shall identify clearly the primary offeror for determination of responsibility purposes. Interested sources are invited to respond to this sources sought announcement utilizing their company letterhead in a Portable Document Format (PDF). 1) Contractor Information: Provide your firm's contact information with a central POC, Cage Code, DUNS number and confirmation that the business SAM registration is current. 2) Identify type of Small Business (SDVOSB, WOSB, SB, etc) and confirm registered NAICS code of 624230. For more information on the definitions or requirements for these small business programs, refer to http://www.sba.gov/. 3) Due to the significant logistics effort needed to support a short duration FTX the Government requests range estimates (e.g. $X amount to $Y amount) submitted from interested respondents of this sources sought notification to assist with a feasibility determination. 4) Experience: Submit a maximum of 5 government or commercial contracts/projects your firm has completed in the last 6 years demonstrating your experience in erecting and supporting Base Camp and life support operations. For each of the contracts/projects submitted for experience, provide the title; location; whether prime or subcontractor work; award and completion dates; contract or subcontract value; type of work; type of contract; a narrative description of the services provided by your firm; and customer information including point of contact, phone number, and email address.
