- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W912EQ-13-Q-0052 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This procurement is being issued as SMALL BUSINESS SET A-SIDE. The associated NAICS code is 561730 with $7.0 million size standard. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Quotes may be submitted in hard copy or electronically, either through regular mail, email, or by facsimile. Regardless of method of delivery, it is the offeror's responsibility to ensure receipt of quotes by the time and date stated herein. Contractors shall submit a lump sum quotation on company letterhead to include all charges for the following items to be delivered in accordance with specifications below: CLIN 0001: (70 BAGS EACH) BERMUDA GRASS SEED, MINIMUM 95% PURE LIVE BERMUDA SEED, MINIMUM 90% GERMINATION, HULLED (50 LB BAG) CLIN 0002: (480 BAILS EACH) HYDRO-MULCH 2000, WITH TACKIFIER (40LB BALES) CLIN 0003: FREIGHT SECTION A - DESCRIPTION/SPECIFICATIONS/WORK STATEMENT A-1.Scope - The work to be done under these specifications consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment and materials, and procuring Bermuda grass seeds and hydro-Mulch to be delivered to levee area on job site near Westwego, LA. SECTION B - DELIVERIES B-1.Deliveries - Quick turnaround is necessary in order for the Government to fulfill its mission. Therefore, the items to be supplied under this purchase order shall be delivered on site within three (3) days of award. Prior to delivery, the Contractor shall coordinate delivery with the following personnel to ensure someone is present. Primary - Matthew Young 901-481-4470 office Secondary - Hugh Green 901-573-2521 office Quotes for quote mark or equal quote mark products shall include product specification in order for the Government to determine whether the proposed product meets the Government's requirements. Failure to submit product specifications may eliminate offerors from consideration for award. Contractor shall submit completed clause 52.212-3, Offerors Representation and Certifications, Commercial Items. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated and will remain in full force in any resultant award.
