THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The NCO 19, Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center, 4100 E. Mississippi Ave, Suite 900, Glendale CO is performing market research to determine if there is a sufficient number of qualified (1) Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business; (2) Veteran Owned Small Business; or (3) Small or emerging small business firms to set aside a single contract. The Government will use responses to this notice to make an appropriate acquisition decision. To provide Grand Junction VAMC with design services in which one of the VA buses will have a wraparound artwork design and text, in accordance with all terms and conditions, design specifications, provisions and the schedule of the solicitation with the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Grand Junction, 2121 North Avenue, Grand Junction, CO 81501. The VA bus is utilized to transport patients from the hospital to the community and vice versa. The wraparound artwork design and text will market to the community and provide clear communication to the community that the Grand Junction VAMC's services are available to the community in Grand Junction. Contractor shall provide all equipment and supplies to create a wraparound artwork design and text on one VA bus for Grand Junction VAMC. Artwork design and text specifications will be provided in the solicitation. Contractor shall work with Grand Junction VAMC point of contacts to coordinate/plan after contract award, and to ensure the correct colors are used and to ensure the quality of work is 100% satisfactory, and make any corrections to the quality of work if needed. Contractor must be located within Grand Junction, CO city limits and carry current liability insurance. All interested firms who can meet the requirements stated above should respond, in writing, with information describing their interest, capabilities, geographic location and indicate which small business category for which they qualify to the Contract Specialist Juanita Street at Juanita.Street@va.gov no later than 12:30 p.m. (Mountain Time), July 26th, 2013. Grand Junction VA Bus Artwork Design and Text has been assigned and should be referenced on all correspondence regarding this announcement. The NAICS Code 541490 is applicable to this acquisition, the size standard for a firm to be considered as an Emerging Small Business is no greater than 50 percent of NAICS Code with a Business Size Standard of $7.0 M. Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.12, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications in conjunction with FAR 4.11 required registration in the Systems for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract. VA will not be paying for any information submitted. This is the only notice, no other copies of this notice will be provided.
