- This is a solicitation to be filled out by interested vendors. This is the Statement of Work, Dated 16 July 2013. The attached Wage Determination is for informational use only. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR part 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation, which incorporates provisions and clauses for commercial items in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-68. This acquisition is set-aside for Small Businesses in accordance with FAR part 19.5. The associated NAICS code for this acquisition is 611692 with a size standard of $7 Million. The contractor shall provide eligible students with basic, experienced, and sport bike Motorcycle Safety Foundation training in accordance with the attached Statement of Work, dated 16 July 2013. The following is a description of the contract line items as detailed in the attached solicitation: Base Year CLIN 0001 - Basic Rider Course - 80 Person CLIN 0002 - Experienced Rider Course 22 Person CLIN 0003 - Sport Bike Rider Course 40 Person Period of Performance is 6 September 2013- 5 September 2014 Option Year 1 CLIN 1001 - Basic Rider Course - 80 Person CLIN 1002 - Experienced Rider Course 22 Person CLIN 1003 - Sport Bike Rider Course 40 Person Period of Performance is 6 September 2014 - 5 September 2015 Option Year 2 CLIN 2001 - Basic Rider Course - 80 Person CLIN 2002 - Experienced Rider Course 22 Person CLIN 2003 - Sport Bike Rider Course 40 Person Period of Performance is 6 September 2015 - 5 September 2016 The following FAR Provisions/Clauses apply to this acquisition and are included in the attached solicitation: FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation--Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders--Commercial Items. Additional FAR Provisions and Clauses are included in the attached solicitation. Award will be made to the responsive offeror determined to be the most advantageous to the government in accordance with the criteria listed in the attached solicitation. Awardee will be required to invoice through wide area work flow (WAWF). Award can only be made to contractors registered in System for Award Management ( http://www.SAM.gov ) Please fill out the attached Request For Quote and send with your offer.
