Description

Special Notice The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Medical Center, Portland, Oregon intends to award a sole source commercial purchase order to ECRI Institute 5200 Butler Pike Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462. This proposed action is for SELECTPlus, Alerts Tracker Devices, and HTAIS Alerts Tracker Notifications for the period of 8/1/2013 - 7/31/2014 with four 1-year options for Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 20. The VA intends to procure this requirement on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.303-2 and FAR 13.501. This is not a request for competitive quotes and no solicitation will be issued; however, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 5 days from the date of the publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Responses are due by 7/22/2013 4:00 pm EDT. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. In accordance with FAR Parts 12 & 15. This notice document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-48, Jan 31, 2011.
