- Photos of Caterpillar Trade In Machine Solicitation Document This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation is for quotes/offerors being requested to the written solicitation posted along with this combined synopsis/solicitation. The USDA Forest Service /Utah Acquisition Support Center in Salt Lake City, Utah is soliciting quotes/offerors for the following requirement, Compact Track Loader for the Fillmore Ranger District on the Fishlake National Forest located in Fillmore, Utah. Bids are due no later than August 2, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. Mountain Time (Local Time) and shall be submitted to: USDA/Forest Service, Utah Acquisition Support Center- 2nd floor (ATTN: Tamera Draper), 2222 W. 2300 S., Salt Lake City, Utah, 84119. The Synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-22 and 2001-23. The following FAR provisions apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors Commercial items, and 52.212-2, Evaluation of Commercial Items, applies to the acquisition. Offerors shall include a completed copy of FAR provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, and furnish Offeror's DUNS Number. Offerors are required to be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) database under the NAICs code that this solicitation is being issued. FAR Clauses 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required Implementing Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. Solicitation Details: The Fillmore Ranger District, located on the Fishlake National Forest in Central Utah has a need to purchase a Compact Track Loader and has 2 (two) machines to trade in as part of this acquisition. The forest has identified specifications of the T770 Bobcat Track Loader (iT4) as a machine that meets the minimum specifications needed by the Fillmore Ranger District; however quotes will be accepted on any machine that meets the T770 Bobcat Track Loader minimum specifications. In addition, features as listed under 3.2 Minimum Specifications are also required. Section 3.2 - Minimum Specifications Minimum specifications for compact loader include: • T770 Bobcat Track Loader (Brand Name or Equal) • Selectable Joystick Controls • Enclosed Cab with Heat and Air Conditioning • Cab Harness that allows for Operation of Accessories • High Flow Hydraulics • Air Ride Seat • Roller Suspension Carriage • Radio • Attachment Control Kit • Engine Block Heater Kit • Forestry Application Kit (equivalent to the Bobcat M-Series) • Engine Compartment Seal Kit • Delivery to Fillmore, Utah Government Points of Contact For this project, the Government Points of Contact are: Bryce Monroe, Fuels Specialist Fishlake National Forest, Fillmore, Utah Phone: 435.896.1014 Cell: 435.979.6561 and Tamera Draper, Purchasing Agent UASC-Utah Procurement Center, Salt Lake City, Utah Phone: 801.975.3370 The delivery date will be coordinated between unit and the successful offeror.
