Description
Backflow/Cross Connection Draft PWS Backflow Prevention Assembly (BFPA)/Cross Connection survey SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT. The 27 Special Operations Contracting Squadron (27 SOCONS) is seeking information concerning the availability of capable contractors to provide non-personal services for the survey and inventory of the Backflow Prevention Assemblies/Cross Connections in 251 facilities throughout Cannon Air Force Base (CAFB), and Melrose Air Force Range (MAFR), New Mexico. This Sources Sought is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation nor is this notice a request for quotation or proposal. DO NOT submit a quote or proposal; no award will be made as a result of this sources sought. The Air Force will NOT be responsible for any cost incurred by interested parties in responding to this sources sought. CAFB is seeking sources interested in a possible contract to complete a backflow prevention assembly/cross connection survey, conduct critical repairs to eliminate high hazards, and provide a final report of the survey results including an inventory of all backflow assemblies. The contractor shall provide all labor, services, and materials necessary to complete the survey and reports. The survey is to be performed in accordance with Air Force Instruction (AFI) 32-1066, Backflow Prevention Program and State of New Mexico Administrative Code (NMAC) 20.7.10. The final report shall provide a detailed inventory of all backflow assemblies, identification of cross connections, a description of water usage, classification of hazard, and selection of proper protection in all CAFB & MAFR buildings as well as any BFPA's within 100' radius of each building. A Hazard Ranking Rationale, Independent Cost Estimate of repairs, and marked drawings shall also be required for each applicable BFPA and cross connection. Survey must be completed by a certified backflow/cross connection technician. If your firm is capable of providing the requirements described above, please provide a Statement of Capability to Ms. Dawn M. The Statement of Capability shall include: A)Contractor Name •Address •Point of Contact (POC) •POC phone number(s) and email addresses •CAGE Code •Website, if applicable •State if your company is registered under NAICS Code 238220 or not •State your companies socio-economic status (business size and type) B)Description of Relevant Contract Experience (Government and Commercial) •Contract number •Description of the requirement •Dollar Value •POC for the requiring activity •POC address, email, phone number(s), fax number, and the company's web page, if applicable Any information provided by industry to the Government as a result of this sources sought synopsis is strictly voluntary. Responses will not be returned. No entitlements to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges to the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses, or the Government's use of such information. The information obtained from industries responses to this notice may be used in the development of an acquisition strategy and future RFP. Attached to this sources sought is a DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS).
