- In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the North Dakota Air National Guard intends to award, on a sole source basis, a purchase order to Smiths Detection, 21 Commerce Drive, Danbury, CT. 06810 for: software 360 upgrades of two (2) HazMat ID Systems. The upgrades include: Bluetooth Wireless Upgrade (for Command and Extended systems). The 023-4041 Upgrade to 400 MHz Processor included for S/N 708 and below 000-0780 Aldrich-I Chem Priority Materials Library (for systems that do not have the Aldrich-I Chem Library Package) Free software updates. Also included, all parts and labor to repair system in the event of a malfunctions. Free loaner (delivered by overnight carrier) if systems malfunction. Annual one-day on-site HazMat ID 360 refresher course - limited to the length of Partnership Program 24/7 Reach Back access to Ph.D. Chemists, Engineers, and Application Scientists for spectral interpretation assistance and/or technical support. The North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) code is 334519. The Justification & Authorization (J&A) is attached to this notice. Paper copies will not be made available. This acquisition will not exceed the Simplified Acquisition Threshold. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS and a solicitation will not be issued. Any response to the notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received, the award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable to this notice.
