Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The 633d Contracting Squadron is seeking information on potential firms qualified to provide quotes on a future solicitation. The proposed award will be a firm fixed-price for Contract Specialists for Joint Base Langley-Eustis, VA. The mandatory requirements are as follows: • Non-personal services: The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, and transportation necessary to perform cradle to grave contracting support for Joint Base Langley-Eustis, VA at the 633rd Contracting Squadron. • Contractor shall provide contracting specialists to satisfy the contracting objectives of Joint Base Langley-Eustis, by utilizing standard procurement methods as outlined in the Federal Acquisition Regulation, supplements and local policy and guidance. • CATEGORY I: This position requires a minimum of five years of experience in pre award, award or post award functions in contracting and Level II APDP/DAWIA Contracting Certification or commercial equivalent courses required for this certification (found on the Defense Acquisition University Website). • CATEGORY II: This position requires a minimum of ten years experience in pre-award, award, and post award functions in contracting and a Level III APDP/DAWIA Contracting Certification or commercial equivalent courses required for this certification (found on the Defense Acquisition University Website). The expected NAICS code for this procurement is 561320. Any information submitted is voluntary. Request interested firms be in the local area, state of Virginia and submit (1) the NAME, ADDRESS, and PHONE NUMBER of the firm (including CAGE code); (2) a summary of their capabilities, (3) their SIZE STATUS. Responses to this notice will assist the Government in identifying potential sources and determining if a set-aside of the solicitation is appropriate. This is set a side for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. Responses must be received no later than 12:00 p.m., EST, on 25-July-2013 to be considered.
