CC-CANYXXX-14 Errata #1 This notice updates the Prospectus CC-CANYXXX-14 issued by the National Park Service on July 11, 2013. The National Park Service (NPS) has issued an Errata to the Prospectus soliciting proposals for the award of two (2) Concession Contracts for River Transportation and Haul-Out Services within Canyonlands National Park Errata No. 1 provides clarification on the Required and Authorized Services allowing all services on the Green and Colorado Rivers above the confluence of these rivers, and no farther downstream than Spanish Bottom on the Colorado River. UPDATE 1: BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, PAGE 7 Exhibit 5 - Existing Required and Authorized Concession Services Delete the existing Exhibit 5 - Existing Required and Authorized Services table. Replace with the updated Exhibit 5 - Existing Required and Authorized Services table in the updated Business Opportunity posted on the NPS Commercial Services website and included in the updated Full Prospectus, here: htpp://concessions.nps.gov/prospectuses.htm: UPDATE 2: BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, PAGE 8 Exhibit 6 - Draft Contract Required and Authorized Services Delete the existing Exhibit 6 - Draft Contract Required and Authorized Service table in the Business Opportunity. Replace with the updated Exhibit 6 - Draft Contract Required and Authorized Service table in the updated Business Opportunity posted on the NPS Commercial Services website and included in the updated Full Prospectus, here: htpp://concessions.nps.gov/prospectuses.htm: UPDATE 3: DRAFT CONTRACT Draft Contract Delete Existing Draft Contract in its entirety Replace Draft Contract with updated Draft Contract posted on the NPS Commercial Services website and included in the updated Full Prospectus, here: htpp://concessions.nps.gov/prospectuses.htm UPDATE 4: CONTRACT EXHIBIT B: OPERATING PLAN, PAGE B-8 Delete the subheading and all language under Section 7 (A) (1) - River Transportation, Haul-Out Services & Interpretation. Replace the subheading and all language under Section 7 (A) (1) with the following: (1) Canoe Haul-out And Transportation Services. The Concessioner is required to provide canoe haul-out services and transportation of people on the Green and Colorado Rivers above the confluence of these rivers, and no farther downstream than Spanish Bottom on the Colorado River in Canyonlands National Park. This service will include a rendezvous at a pre-arranged point. Any proposal, including that of the existing concessioners, must be received by the Chief of Concessions, Intermountain Region, National Park Service, 12795 West Alameda Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado 80228 by 4:00 p.m. MST on Monday September 9, 2013, in order to be evaluated and considered for award of the Concession Contract. The updated Prospectus will be available at http://concessions.nps.gov/prospectuses.htm Hard copies will be available upon request for a printing cost recovery charge. The fee is $35.00 per copy to be delivered via Federal Express or $30.00 per copy if picked up in person. Persons interested in obtaining a Prospectus should mail, or bring in person, a check or money order made payable to the NPS (cash will not be accepted). You must include a physical address (no post office box) and telephone number to receive a Federal Express package.
