- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation number N00167-13-T-0072 applies and is hereby issued using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and quotes/proposals are being requested. The procurement is 100 % small business set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 331491 with the size standard of 750 employees. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-68 and DPN 20130710.This procurement is for the acquisition of tungsten round bar. Offers can be submitted by returning a completed copy of the attached solicitation document N00167-13-T-0072, or by submitting their offer on company letterhead stationery, or as otherwise specified in the solicitation. To be considered for award a submitted offer must include at the minimum the following (1) Solicitation number. (2) The time specified in the solicitation for receipt of offers. (3) Company name, address, telephone number, CAGE number and DUNS number. (4) Representations and Certifications must be completed and available at the Governments System for Awards Management System (SAM) website. www.sam.gov. (5) A technical description of the items being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation. This may include product literature, or other documents, if necessary. (6) Terms of any express warranty. (7) Price and any discount terms. (8) Acknowledgment of Solicitation Amendments. (9) When offer is not submitted on the SF 1449, include a statement specifying the extent of agreement with all terms, conditions, and provisions included in the solicitation. Offers that fail to furnish required representations and information, or reject the terms and conditions of the solicitation may be excluded from consideration. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. If a change occurs in this requirement, only offers received within the required time frame will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
