- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart FAR 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is PR10372351 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document t and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in n effect though rough Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-68 and DFARS DPN 20130710. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 324121 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The requirement is unrestricted and only qualified offcrors may submit a quote. The due date for quotes is 22 July 2013, 1:00 PM Pacific Standard Time. DESCRIPTION - Asphalt will be used during Training for asphalt paving troop projects at Camp Parks, Dublin, CA. Paving is for resu rfacing Range Road (North of 15 Th Street and Cromwell Street). This requirement is for materials and delivery only. No installation required. Areas require 3 inches total to be completed in one (1) lift. Compaction will be 8000 PSI. Asphalt will meet Caltrans standards. Delivery is estimated to be six (6) loads, with two (2) loads per day beginning 23 Jul y 2013. Vendor must be able to deliver material once given a 24 hours notice by the Contracting Officer Representative (COR). Coordination for exact time and location will be provided by the COR after contract award. MICC Moffett Field requires Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) item as follows ASPHALT CLIN QUANTITY UNIT UNIT PRICE TOTAL 0001 1200 Tons $____________$_____ _ This solicitation requires registration with the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award, pursuant to applicable regulations and guidelines. The following provisions and clauses are incorporated by reference- 52.212-1 Instruction to Offerors Commercial Items 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items The contract will be awarded to the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) quote. The technical evaluation will be a determination based on the contractor's ability to meet the delivery schedule. 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications Commercial Items The offeror shall complete only paragraph (I) of this provision if the offeror has completed the annual representat ions and certifications electronically at http://orca.bpn.gov. All email quotes must be clearly marked with number PR I 0372351. Quoters shall ensure quotes include the total amount to include delivery to the destination listed above.
