Description

STATEMENT OF WORK This solicitation uses a Brand Name or Equal Description of the product required. This permits prospective contractors to offer products other than those specifically referenced by brand name. All offers must work with existing equipment that has already been purchased and is currently in use at the station. The Kansas City VAMC is soliciting quotes to provide an Intellivue MP5 Monitoring Systems with the following as listed below for Mini Ward on 8th Floor as Brand Name or Equal that can meet the requirements of this RFQ. Vendors that can provide this system Brand Name or equal shall include a copy of the equipment brochure which clearly defines the system or equal. Any information submitted by an offeror for consideration will not be returned and will remain the property of the VA. The equipment must be compatible/proprietary in all aspects (form, fit and function) with the existing major system presently installed. The expansion will allow proper monitoring, the least number of employees needed to monitor veteran patients and allow for the expansion of 16 additional patients on the Medical/Surgical Unit. Must meet or equal the following characteristics as stated below and as per Price/ Cost Schedule: Details of this scope of work are: The setup shall be 2x roll around MP5s that will be shared across 8 Rooms. The bedside monitors will be monitored in the 8th Floor CMU on a new A16 PIIC. There shall be two Remote Displays on the wall in the Mini Ward to overview the new A16 PIIC. 1.The hospital shall install the wall channels as needed for the mounting solutions provided. 2.Vendor shall provide the mounts and labor for 2 remote displays. 3.Vendor shall provide material and labor for one remote CPU (from Biomed Server Room to CMU) and 2 remote displays (From Biomed Server Room to Mini-Ward) solutions. This includes two 19" displays for the remotes. 4.Vendor shall provide material and labor to pull, terminate and certify the required Cat5e to the 8 rooms, CMU and 2 Remote Displays. 5.Vendor shall provide material and labor for one Roll Stand.
