- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemental with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No.A13PS00480 herein cited will be procured under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial ltems. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-64. Set Aside: HubZone, Small Business, NAICS Code: 562111. This is for Refuse and recycle pick up services for the BIE-Cottonwood Day School, P.O. Box 6003, Navajo Route 4, Chinle, Arizona. The contractor shall provide quote for the following: SCOPE OF WORK Cottonwood Day School REFUSE DISPOSAL SERVICES Location: The services to be performed will be at the one ( 1) Bureau of Indian Education School within Arizona Central Navajo Agency, Cottonwood Day School. Background: The schools have been receiving refuse disposal services from the current contractor for numerous years and services have been outstanding. Notifications/Coordination: Contractor shall notify Mr. Ernest Nez, Facility Management at 928)725-3235 or Ms. Mary A. Lee, Business Technician at 928-725-3235 on any problems or issues regarding delivery, disposal and or pickups/non-pickups. SCOPE OF WORK: 1.The contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, equipment, materials, employee training, services, insurance and equipment to perform the designated work on the refuse disposal services and shall be responsible for the professional quality, technical accuracy, and timely completion and restoration of the area. 2.Contractor shall proceed to each of the Bureau School and check in at the front office building and request for the School Maintenance Supervisor or the, School Maintenance Worker or designated alternate maintenance personnel. 3.The Contractor will do a basic refuse disposal services at each of the Bureau operated schools and the Agency Headquarters office buildings. The refuse will be properly disposed of in the designated licensed landfill. 4.There will be meetings called if necessary to discuss any problem(s) or issues that need immediate resolution. 5.The contractor shall notify the Agency office of any changes in schedule, delay in pickup(s) or non pickups. 6.The contractor shall notify the Agency office if there was a non pickup and the invoice must be adjusted accordingly. 7.The contractor shall notify the Agency office of any changes in the cost of services prior to charging. 8.Contractor shall coordinate all scheduling and/or changes in scheduling with Cottonwood Day School Facility Management. 9.Contractor shall ensure there will be no spillage on the school campus at any time. If there is spillage, immediate clean up must be enforced. Directives/Performance: 1.2Direction: The Contractor shall accept directions only from the Contracting Officer or the duly authorized Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). Requests or desires of the Users or Using Agency made directly to the Contractor will be immediately brought to the attention of the COR. Any changes to the project scope or other provisions of this Statement of Work (SOW) must be authorized in writing by the Contracting Officer. 1.3Performance Time and Security Requirements: Performance period is 260 business days from issuance of notice to proceed. The refuse pick up will be done during regular business hours from 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. If work is to be performed outside of these hours, the COR must be notified at least 5 (five) days in advance. The COR will ensure government personnel is on site. Work will not interfere with the schools' daily functions. If work has to be scheduled after hours or during weekends and holidays Government personnel may be required for oversight.
