- THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. ONE TO THECOMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR CASSEGRAIN ANTENNAS. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to clarify the requirements for the cassegrain antennas, as follows: Mode Transition WR-10 to 0.094 circular, Quantity 1 (item #4 in the RFQ) is deleted from the requirement. Required delivery (Item #5 in the RFQ) is revised to read: FOB Destination delivery is required to Kirtland Air Force Base, Albuquerque, NM 87116 on the following schedule: 1) 24 antenna no later than August 26, 2013, Quantity one. 2) 24 antenna no later than September 6, 2013, Quantity one. 3) 48 antenna no later than September 6, 2013, Quantity two. 4) Vendor is to propose its best alternate delivery schedule if not able to meet the dates above. Earliest delivery of at least one 24 antenna is required. Delivery is required to Kirtland Air Force Base, Albuquerque, NM 87116, not NASA Ames Research Center. All optics must be figured to 1/20 wavelength at 95GHz. The entire system must be capable of handling 100kw (100,000 watts) continuous wave 95GHz gaussian beam feed (with secondary illuminated by 90% of said beam power) for up to 10 seconds at a time. NASA will provide its own feed. NASA will provide its own mount. The NAICS code for this procurement is changed to 334220, to more accurately identify the manufacturing industry of the items being procured. (http://www.census.gov/eos/www/naics/ ) This change does not affect the small business size, which remains 750 employees. Companies must have this NAICS code listed on their System for Award Management (www.sam.gov) Reps and Certs. The following requirements in the original RFQ remain unchanged: 1. 24 inch Cassegrain Antenna 95 Ghz 5Ghz bandwidth nominal, 0.094 circular 53 db gain nominal, 0.35 degrees -3db beamwidth, Quantity 2 2. 48 inch Cassegrain Antenna 95 Ghz 5Ghz bandwidth nominal, 0.094 circular 59 db gain nominal, 0.18 degrees -3db beamwidth, Quantity 2 3. Crating charges for Item 1 and/or Item 2 above, as required. The due date for receipt of offers is extended to 4:00pm Pacific Time, July 24, 2013. Selection and award will be made to that offeror whose offer will be most advantageous to the Government, with consideration given to the factors of proposed technical merit, price, delivery schedule, and past performance. Other critical requirements: Maintenance and Warranty shall also be considered. It is critical that offerors provide adequate detail to allow evaluation of their offer. (SEE FAR 52.212-1(b)). Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on July 17, 2013 and this amendment.
