Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested in response to this notice and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Submit only written quotes for DE-SOL-0005756. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-68. This solicitation is a released as full and open, non restricted competition The associated NAICS code is 336120 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. This RFQ contains two line items. The line item descriptions are as follows: CLIN 0001: 2014, or newer Freightliner 114SD or Equal in accordance with the Attached specifications. $___________________ CLIN 0002: Vehicle, Trade-in from Southwestern Power Administration (Southwestern) 1989 Ford Pole Truck (Information will be provided upon amendment.. $_______________________ DELIVER TO: 2858 S Golden, Springfield, Missouri; 65807- 3213 BEFORE 2/28/2014 (based on August 10, 2013 award). NO FRIDAY or Holiday DELIVERIES. Any ?or equal? item submitted shall have a complete descriptive literature package covering all items contained with these specifications to determine if the ?or equal? item meets the design, performance, and operating characteristics of these specifications. This solicitation will result in a firm fixed price purchase order pursuant to the terms and conditions below. Terms and conditions other than those stated will not be accepted. The above pricing is all inclusive. PROVISIONS: The following FAR provisions apply to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items (completed as follows): (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Lowest Price Technically Acceptable ? Offerors submitting or equal items must meet or exceed the specifications above.
