Description

The Louis Stokes Cleveland Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center has a need to complete emergency repair to the compromised flat roof above Hematology. Repair of the roof shall be completed by removing the existing roof system down to the concrete deck and disposing of all debris. This will require tearing the roof system to the deck to replace it with a new roof with tapered insulation and crickets. The existing PIB roof over Hematology is compromised, damaged and leaking. The roof over Hematology is 35' x 85' (3,230 square feet) with multiple open laps, causing water to enter and has ruined the bonding of the insulation. Vendor is responsible for any damages that may occur to the Hospital due to the use of a crane for this project to remove existing insulation and roofing material from the job site and placing new material to repair this roof.
