- Description
- NASA/JSC plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Integrated Mission Operations Contract II (IMOC II). The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. The IMOC II acquisition is being conducted on a full and open basis. The NAICS Code is 541712 - Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (except Biotechnology) and the Size Standard is 1,000 employees under the exception for Space Vehicles and Guided Missiles, their Propulsion Units, their Propulsion Units Parts, and their Auxiliary Equipment and Parts. The IMOC II contract will be a single award Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) Cost-Plus-Award-Fee contract comprised of Performance-Based and Level-of-Effort task orders. The phase-in effort will be Firm-Fixed-Price. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. We anticipate posting a Draft RFP to the IMOC II website on July 26, 2013. The IMOC II Pre-Proposal Conference will be held on August 06, 2013. Site tours will be held on August 6-8, 2013. The IMOC II Cost and Pricing WebEx will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. CDT. Prospective offerors are encouraged to review the Draft RFP and to provide comments and questions to Kathryn McLaurin at the e-mail address provided below by 4pm CDT on August 21, 2013. Responses to questions will be posted on the IMOC II website at http://procurement.jsc.nasa.gov/imocII/. The anticipated release date of the final RFP is September 25, 2013 with an anticipated offer due date of November 12, 2013. Prospective offerors are encouraged to notify Kathryn McLaurin at the e-mail address provided below of their intent to submit an offer. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any). All contractual and technical questions related to the final RFP must be submitted in writing via e-mail to Kathryn McLaurin at the e-mail address provided below.
