- The U.S Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) intends to issue a thirty (30) day extension to existing Contract W81XWH-08-C-0096. This Contract is to assist the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (Health Affairs), TRICARE Management Activity, and TRICARE Regional Office in support to the TRICARE and military health system (MHS) contracts. This includes (1) financial planning, analysis, and management; (2) policy support; (3) procurement support; (4) contract cost adjustment; (5) reimbursement support; (6) cost certification; (7) Medicare; (8) information systems; and (9) educational support; associated with the financing and delivery of the MHS using the TRICARE Health Plan. Kennell and Associates is the only Contractor that that can provide these services. This extension will be issued in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(A)&(B). FAR 52.217-8 Extension of Services was already synopsized in the subsequent award. The Period of Performance for this effort will be thirty (30) days; 1 October 2013 and ending 31 October 2013. If any firm has any questions, please submit a written notification to the Contract Specialist NLT 31 July 2013, 10:00 Eastern Time. Information shall be sent electronically to Ms. Jennifer.M.Dunlap.civ@mail.mil. NO TELEPHONE requests will be accepted. Responses received will be considered; however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
