- Description
- The Bureau of Land Management has a requirement for a fuels reduction/vegetation improvement project at Cedar Creek in Montana. Cedar Creek is located 32 miles south, southeast of Glendive, Montana. This requirement is for grinding/shredding of approximately 450 acres of vegetation by a wheeled or tracked mounted equipment either hydraulic or power-take-off (PTO) driven cutter head. The contractor shall provide all labor, transportation, materials, and equipment necessary to perform the work. Further requirements will be posted in the solicitation. The period of performance is 150 days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Work is anticipated to start in September 2013. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $150,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 115310. This is a total set aside for Small Business Concerns. The small business size standard is 17.5 million. A site tour will take place and information will be posted in the solicitation. The solicitation will be posted approximately August 7, 2013. No hard copies of the solicitation will be sent out by this office and will be available at www.fedconnect.net. Response date for quotes will be on/about August 28, 2013. Please check the solicitation for all required documentation to be submitted. Prospective contractors must be registered in System Award Management (SAM) prior to award. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information on SAM can be found online at www.sam.gov.
