Description

Quality Mgt SF1449 This is a synopsis/solicitation for the Quality Management Department for the Tucson Area Indian Health Services(IHS). IHS proposes to make a competive contract award for the Quality Managment Dept for the following location: Sells Indian Hospital in Sells, Arizona. The Sells Indian Hospital is a 14 bed healthcare facility institution, which operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week (Monday through Friday). The Hospital is located on the Tohono O'odham Indian Reservation which is approximately 70 miles Southwest of Tucson, AZ. The Contractor will provide Acute Adult/Pediatric Criteria to access medical necessity and quality care medical management to assure patients meet the appropiate acute level of care in order for the Sells Indian Hospital to bill third party healthcare for Inpatient services that have been provided by IHS Physicians to eligible American Indians and Alaska Natives beneficiaries of the Indian Health Service. The anticipated period of performance is for a base period of one year beginning August 25, 2013 through August 24, 2014 with options to extend for four (4) additional one-year option periods.
