- Solicitation 2013-N-15695 THIS REQUIREMENT IS A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Requirement 2013-N-15695 is being issued as a Request for Proposal. This procurement is a 100% Small Business set-aside in accordance with FAR 19.502-2 (a). The Offeror must have an active registration with the System for Account Management (SAM) - recently replaced the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award of the contract in accordance with FAR Clause 52.204-7. The government intends to issue a firm fixed price contract in accordance with FAR Part 12. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-46. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 112310 (Chicken Egg Production) and the size standard is $12.5 million. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has a requirement for fertile chicken eggs to be furnished to the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (NCIRD) Coordination Center for Infectious Diseases (CCID), Influenza Division (ID). Proposals are due by August 12, 2013 to Maria Shamburger at mshamburger@cdc.gov. All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal, which if timely received, shall be considered by the agency. Questions, if any, should be submitted to mshamburger@cdc.gov no later than 3:00pm EST on July 29, 2013. EMAIL INQUIRIES ONLY. Reference RFP# 2013-N-15695. The resultant contract will be Firm Fixed Price IDIQ contract with a 12-month base period of performance and four 12-month option periods. Work will be performed at the contractor's facility. The Government intends to evaluate offers and award a contract without discussions with Offerors providing the requested products/services. The initial offer should contain the offeror's best terms from a technical and price standpoint. Interested vendors capable of furnishing the government with the requested services listed in the attachment for this synopsis should submit a proposal to the email address listed above. The proposal shall include the itemized price and descriptive literature of the product/services proposed. The offeror must be able to provide all of the requested items listed in the attached document (Attachment 1).
