- Synopsis for Intrusion Detection System (IDS) Testing, Repair, and Preventative Maintenance. Synopsis - FY14 Intrusion Detection System The 7th Contracting Squadron (7 CONS) intends to procure services for the Testing, Repair and Preventative Maintenance of the Intrusion Detection System (IDS) located on Dyess AFB, TX. This solicitation is a Total Small Business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561621 and the applicable size standard is $12.5M. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) www.sam.gov. All responsive offerors will be considered by the agency. The entire solicitation FA4661-13-R-0014 will be made available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Web Site at http://www.fbo.gov. It is anticipated that the contract resulting from this solicitation will be Firm-Fixed-Price, and will be a Base Plus 4-Option-Year service contract. The anticipated Period of Performance is 1 October 2013 to 30 September 2014 for the Base Year, with the remaining 4 option years running consecutively in the event that they are exercised. Award of this contract will be made depending on available funds. It is possible that the resulting contract will be funded incrementally, such as on a quarterly basis. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, on or about 7 August 2013, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a quote must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE Code). The cut off for receipt of quotes shall be no later than 2:00 PM (CST) on the indicated due date (which will be identified in the solicitation, and will fall on or around 9 September, 2013).
