Description

Pricing Sheet Solicitation Under the Terms and Conditions of SI Solicitation No. F13SOL10033, the selected Vendor shall ensure that both the Smithsonian Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum ("CHNDM") and the George Gustav Heye Center ("GGHC")shall connect to each other via a separate leased fiber connection at 10Gbps. This will ultimately allow each site to function as a backup network path in the event of an outage from the Multiprotocol Label Switching ("MPLS")provider. The main connection for the Smithsonian will be at the Equinix facility in Ashburn, VA. The carrier then will provide two (2) independent 1Gbps Ethernet links to their MPLS cloud in order to ensure resilient MPLS service to the sites.
