Description
The contractor shall provide a Senstar Stellar factory authorized technician on site and supplies listed in solicitation for repair of Buried Cable Intrusion Detection System. Overview The contractor shall supply and install the following name brand or equal parts listed below that are approved for use on the existing Senstar Stellar Permitrax buried cable instruction detection system. All work will be performed at the Sault Ste. Marie Area Office, 312 W Portage Ave, Sault Ste. Marie, MI 49783. Contractor Qualifications All work performed on the Buried Cable Intrusion Detection System shall be accomplished by a Senstar Stellar factory authorized technician. All Equipment shall be installed per the factory manuals and guidelines. Attachments Drawing SL1301 - Buried Cable Intrusion Detection System Layout Required Work The contractor shall provide a Senstar Stellar factory authorized technician on site for a maximum of 5 days - 8 hours per day. Time spent on site does not include travel or lunch breaks. The system is currently nonfunctional. It sustained a lightning strike that damaged at a minimum the Sennet network controller and associated equipment located in the MacArthur Guardhouse. The full extent of the damage is not known. The contractor shall evaluate the system and determine the full extent of the damage. The contractor shall install the items provided below if needed. All unused items will be kept by the Government as spares. The contractor shall provide the following components, or approved equal: QTY Part# Description 1 MOKT0310 Network Controller Circuit Card Assembly 1 A3FG0102 Sensor Module 1 A3EM0304 Field Power Module 1 J4KT0500 Transponder The contractor shall provide the following items or approved equal to the Government for future repairs the contractor is not responsible for their installation: QTY Part# Description 2 A3FG0211 SC1 Cable Sets 1 A3KT0500 SC1 Cable Repair Kit 1 A3KT0701 Decoupler Kit Security Requirements and Clearance of Personnel Security Requirements The work area is under civilian guard and is located in an area where security regulations are in effect. The Contractor shall acquaint itself with the prevailing security rules and regulations and comply therewith in conducting its operations. All personnel employed by the contractor in the performance of the services specified in this contract or any representative of the Contractor entering the work area shall conform to all security regulations and rules which may be in effect during the contract period. Clearance of Personnel All contractor and subcontractor employees shall be in possession of a valid/current TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Card). Contractor and subcontractor employees, who are in the process of obtaining a TWIC at the time of Contract execution, will not be allowed access. Contractor and subcontractor employees in possession of a TWIC and who are Foreign Nationals must undergo an additional background investigation regardless of TWIC possession. Security Checks The Contractor's employees must enter the site through the main security checkpoint unless otherwise approved by the Contracting Officer. All employees must carry their TWIC at all times. They must show I.D. upon request by security personnel. The Contractor's employees will be subject to such additional checks as may be deemed necessary to ensure that no violation of security rules has occurred. Exclusion or Expulsion from the Site A negative background investigation may result in the exclusion or expulsion of the contractor employee from the site as determined by the District Security Office in accordance with AR 380-67. Failure to observe the security rules will result in the exclusion or expulsion of Contractor employees from the site. Exclusion or expulsion of an employee resulting from negative background check or the failure of an employee to observe the security rules shall not be subject to the Disputes clause and shall not result in an increase in the contract amount. Period of Performance: The contractor shall have 30 days from the date of award to complete all required work.
