Description
Change - The National Park Service (NPS) requires an understanding of social science information regarding visitors and how they contribute to in-park, regional, and agency-wide performance in achieving goals outlined in strategic planning, management documents, and compliance with law and policy. Furthermore, various non-visitor studies spanning NPS Personnel and Partners Studies, Recreation, Transportation and Carrying Capacity Studies and Regional Economic Impact and Economic Welfare Studies will also be accommodated. Under this contract, the prospective vendor will conduct a broad spectrum of socioeconomic research and analysis studies, including but not limited to developing, gathering, analyzing, and reporting specific data to the park units and to the Social Science Branch of the Natural Resource Stewardship and Science Directorate, located in Fort Collins, Colorado. In some cases, the awardee must be prepared to travel nationwide to the ordering park units identified under a task order and must be able to incorporate various research methodologies; additionally all associated work will be performed entirely by the awardee. Change - The government intends to award an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with a base year period of performance plus four (4) option year periods. Task orders will be issued against the IDIQ. The government may choose to award to a single vendor or to multiple vendors. The solicitation will invite full and open competition. Contractor must be registered in www.sams.gov in order to access the solicitation and to be eligible for award. You can register by going to www.sams.gov. Change - The estimated release date of the solicitation is on or about September 16, 2013. The solicitation will be available at https://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect/Default.htm.
