- Amendment 0001 is hereby issued to include the following provisions and notes to the solicitation since exceeded the TINA Threshold ($700K). Provision# 52.215-10 PRICE REDUCTION FOR DEFECTIVE COST OR PRICING DATA FAR 15.408(b) - The contracting officer shall, when contracting by negotiation, insert in solicitations and contracts when it is contemplated that cost or pricing data will be required from the contractor or any subcontractor (see 15.403-4). Provision# 52.215-12 SUBCONTRACTOR COST OR PRICING DATA FAR 15.408(d) - The contracting officer shall insert in solicitations and contracts when the clause prescribed in paragraph (b) (FAR 52.215-10, I15A06) of this section is included. Provision# 52.215-21 REQUIREMENTS FOR COST OR PRICING DATA OR INFOR OTHER THAN C/P DATA - MODIFICATIONS FAR 15.408-(m)) - This clause may be used in large purchase solicitations/contracts if it is reasonably certain that cost or pricing data or information other than cost or pricing data will be required for modifications. Provision# 52.215-21 REQUIREMENTS FOR COST OR PRICING DATA OR INFOR OTHER THAN C/P DATA - MOD, ALTERNATE I Use ALT I to specify a format for cost or pricing data other than format required by Table 15-2 of 15.408(m). Provision# 52.215-22 LIMITATIONS ON PASS-THROUGH CHARGES FAR 15.408(n)(1): Include this clause in solicitations and contracts when: 1. the resulting contract is expected to exceed the threshold for submission of cost and pricing data ($700,000), and 2. the resulting contract will be firm fixed-price or firm fixed-price w/EPA, and 3. competition is NOT anticipated, and 4. the items being procured are NOT commercial. Provision# 52.215-23 LIMITATIONS ON PASS-THROUGH CHARGES FAR 15.408(n)(2)(iii): Use in solicitations and contracts when the contracting officer determines that the prospective contractor has demonstrated that its functions provide added value to the contracting effort and there are no excessive pass-through charges. Provision# 252.215-7002 COST ESTIMATING SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS DFARS 215.408(2) - Use in all solicitations and contracts to be award on the basis of cost or pricing data Provision# 52.215-16 FACILITIES CAPITAL COST OF MONEY FAR 15.408(h) - The contracting officer shall insert in solicitations expected to result in contracts that are subject to the cost principles for contracts with commercial organizations (see subpart 31.2). Provision# 52.215-20 REQUIREMENTS FOR COST OR PRICING DATA OR INFORMATION OTHER THAN COST OR PRICING DATA FAR 15.408(l) - This provision may be used in solicitations if it is reasonably certain that cost or pricing data or information other than cost or pricing data will be required. Provision# 52.215-20 REQUIREMENTS FOR COST OR PRICING DATA OR INFORMATION OTHER THAN COST OR PRICING DATA, ALTERNATE I Use ALT I to specify a format for cost or pricing data other than format required by Table 15.2 of FAR 15.408. Provision# 252.215-7009 PROPOSAL ADEQUACY CHECKLIST DFARS 215-408(6) - Use this provision in solicitations which require the submission of certified cost or pricing data. Provision# 52.230-9000 SUBMISSION OF DATA ON FACILITIES CAPITAL COST OF MONEY DLAD 30.7004-1(c) - Use in solicitations expected to exceed $700,000 which require submission of cost or pricing data. Note: Certified cost or pricing data should be submitted immediately upon request by the Contract Specialist upon 45 days of this solicitation. FAR 15.408, Table 15-2 contains the guidelines for submitting this data. A sample format can be found at http://www.dcaa.mil. At this website, go to "Publications" and click on "Information for Contractors". Navigate to Chapter 3 for guidance on pricing proposals. You can also view a Checklist on this website which highlights common inadequacies found in certified data. This checklist is called "Criteria for Adequate Contract Pricing Proposals" on the DCAA website. See provision # 52.215-20 "Requirements for Certified Cost or Pricing Data and data other than certified cost and pricing data". Questions regarding cost or pricing data can be addressed to the Contract Specialist identified in block 10 of page 1 of this RFP. Note: Please note that ALL PAGES of the solicitation must be completed and returned to the buyer ( ricardo.blancosoto@dla.mil ). In addition, prior to submission of your proposal, please verify that your company included all of the following required item: Cost or Pricing Data (FAR 15.408). Note: PLEASE NOTE THAT A FAILURE TO PROVIDE ADEQUATE COST OR PRICING DATA MAY RESULT IN THE SOLICITATION BEING CANCELLED WITH NO AWARD BEING MADE. There is no other change in the terms or conditions by reason of this amendment.
