- Description
- The U.S. Department of Interior (DOI) Bureau of Land Management (BLM) intends to award a contract to Environment & Energy Publishing, LLC, to obtain Electronic News Subscription. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) at the Washington Office (WO) intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for a 1 year Electronic News subscription with four (4) year options. The electronic news subscription will consist of the following: EE News Daily, Energy, Climate, Green, and News PM. The effective dates are 7/24/13 through 7-23-14, with four (4) option years. The Government believes that the only responsible source capable of satisfying the agency requirement is Environment & Energy Publishing, LLC. A justification for other than full and open competition has been prepared in suppo -- click under Additional Information to view complete announcement text. The award performance period will be for one base year and for four optional years. No solicitation is available for this requirement. Interested parties should submit a capability statement and pricing information for the requirement within one (1) calendar days of publication of this notice, to be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
