Description
The Mission & Installation Contracting Command, Installation Contracting Office - Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico has a Request for Quote (RFQ) No. W912C3-13-T-0026 for General Repairs to Visitor Control Center Building 670 at Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico. A Firm Fixed-Price Contract will be awarded from this requirement. The solicitation will be issued on or about 8 August 2013. The opening date of the RFQ is on or about 9 September 2013 (see solicitation for the specific date). This solicitation is issued as a 100% Set-Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Procurement Program. All responsible sources are invited to submit bids under this solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is 236220. The size standard is $33.5 M. The magnitude of the requirement is between $100,000 and $250,000. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. All interested parties are responsible for monitoring the Federal Business Opportunity website at http://www.fbo.gov for status of solicitation and amendments, if any. The quote and amendments, if any, can be submitted through the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ via the secure Bid Response System on or before the closing time and date. Timely hard copies proposals will be accepted. Bidders may use the automated bidder response on the Army Single Face to Industry website: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/. However, the system is not managed by the Mission Installation Contracting Command, Installation Contracting Office-Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico. For that reason, you have to ensure the system did actually accept and properly posted all documents intended to be submitted. The system sometimes does give errors. Please Note: If the bid is not properly posted by date and time due for submission of bids and/or bid is not complete when downloaded by the Mission Installation Contracting Command, Installation Contracting Office-Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico, the bid may not be eligible for consideration for award. The RFQ will be posted and accessed electronically by the public at http://www.fbo.gov. The solicitation will not be mailed out or faxed. Offerors submitting quotes that are not registered in System for Award Management database at http://www.sam.gov website may not be eligible for award.
