Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 9, intends to make award on a sole-source basis, in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), as set forth in FAR 6.302-1, to Memphis Bioworks Foundation, 20 Dudley St Suite 900, Memphis, TN 38103-4904 for an increase of 100 parking spaces in Memphis, TN. A Firm Fixed Price contract is anticipated. The Period of Performance for this requirement is as follows: Base Period: Aug 1st -September 30th, 2013. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. The Department of Veterans Affairs will consider written responses received no later than July 26, 2013 at 4:30 PM CDT. Responses must include sufficient evidence that clearly shows the vendor is capable of providing the requested parking lease. If no written response is received that clearly demonstrates an ability to meet all requirements or if the response is not more advantageous to the Government, the Department of Veterans Affairs shall make award on a sole source basis to Memphis Bioworks Foundation. A request for more information, or a request for a copy of the solicitation, will not be considered an affirmative response to this notice. Telephone responses or inquiries to this notice will NOT be accepted. Qualified vendors must provide the following: 1. The name and location of your company, contact information, and identify your business size (Large Business, Small Business, Disadvantaged Business, 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, HubZone, etc.) based on NAICS Code 531120, size standard $7M. Please ensure contact information includes the name of the point of contact, email address, and telephone number should the Government have questions regarding individual responses. 2. Whether your services are available through a Government contract vehicle or Open Market. 3. A brief capabilities statement (not to exceed 5 pages) that includes a description of your company's standard line of business, as well as a list of customers your company currently provides these products/services for. All responsible sources must submit written capability statements demonstrating their ability to perform these services. 4. Vendors must provide their DUNS number. Responses to this request must be submitted no later than July 26, 2013 at 4:30 PM CDT and must be submitted electronically to Raymond.savoy@va.gov. All interested parties will be required to respond to any resultant solicitation separately from their response to this notice. Responses to this request can be emailed to Raymond.savoy@va.gov.
