Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (SAC), 6900 Main Street, Stratford, Connecticut, 06615-9129 for one Technical Product Support Liaison (TPSL). This effort will include the labor and materials required for one TPSL to support the MH-60R Program located at NS Mayport/NAS Jacksonville from contract award through December 31, 2017. This action is being awarded on a sole source basis to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements;" because, as they are the MH-60 Romeo manufacturer, they are the only qualified source which possesses the detailed knowledge of the MH-60R design to allow them to perform these efforts in a timely and cost effective manner.
