- DFARS 252.209-7995 Representations by Corporations Regarding an Unpaid Delinquent Tax Liability...(Dev 2013-O00010)(April 2013) Instructions to Quoters Solicitation N0018913TG143 The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Contracting Department, Groton, CT Office, intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed-Price contract to rent (one) 35-35 Foot, IC, 4WD Scissor Lift Rental to include Delivery and Pick-Up for the Naval Academy Preparatory School in Newport, RI 02841.The subject service will be acquired in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The estimated required period of performance is from 18 August 2013 to 18 November 2013 from contract award. The North American Industry Classification System code for this acquisition is 333999. The vendor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for award to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a vendor ineligible for award. Vendors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.
