Description
PROJECT LOCATION: U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Region 3, Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge, Marion, Illinois ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. PROJECT CONSISTS OF: (1) 24' x 48' Modular Building, to be delivered and installed at the Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge in Marion, Illinois. The building shall include one small office, one unisex, accessible restroom with sink, one additional accessible sink not located in the restroom, a janitor's closet with a water heater and mop sink, a laundry room with hook ups for washer and dryer and dryer vent (washer and dryer are not included in the contract). An accessible composite/cedar ramp to the front door is also required. The contractor shall provide plans showing the floor plan and elevations of the building and all other details required for production and installation of the building. Plans must be sealed by a Professional Engineer registered in the State of Illinois SOCIOECONOMIC PROGRAMS: This procurement is set-aside exclusively for small business concerns. For information purposes, the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a size standard of $33.5 million. The Solicitation Package will be available via electronic commerce on fbo.gov and fedconnect.net on or about August 12, 2013 with a Bid Opening occurring on or about September 11, 2013. The Solicitation Package will include the following: An itemized Bid Schedule, Scope of Work, Drawings, and Prevailing Wage Determination and Bid Bond Form. Please ensure you have a complete downloaded Solicitation Package before submitting your Bid. It is the Contractor's responsibility to ensure that they receive all appropriate solicitation documents to submit a competitive Bid.
